Remember May is Swimming Merit Badge Month. Meet at the Garner YMCA at 6:30pm. Fee is $4 per night for 5 nights ($20)
Court of Honor is January the 31st at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
Cut off date for Advancement is January 10th due to the Holiday
on January 17th.
All Scouts who need advancement need to see Mrs. Rachel ASAP.
The Christmas Party has been delayed one week. It will now be held on December 20 at the regular meeting time 7:00 to 8:30 pm. We can decide on other games at the next meeting since Amy Gregory was able to secure the Fellowship Hall Another rule is no gift cards. Nathan
ALL LEADERS & COMMITTEE MEMBERS MUST COMPLETE YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING!!!!!!!!!! ***** For your convenience we will have laptops set up for the next few Monday meetings so that you can come in and spend 20 minutes completing this training if you have not already done so. Completed certificate must be given to Rachel. Or you can complete it at home and bring the completed certificate to Rachel.
TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULT LEADERS: Durant Challenge, April 1-3, 2011. Climbing tower, COPE training. Also, Canoe Safety Training 2-part. (Part 1) April 8-9 flat water training at Lake Crabtree. (Part 2) April 15-17 white water at local rivers.
PHILMONT: Currently there are 20 slots available for the 2011 summer camp. We have more information for any scouts or leaders that are interested in going. Approximate cost is $1400 which includes airfare. All fees are due March 2011.
